Hundreds of prostrations at the feet of the most revered Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji, Kanchi Kamakoti Peethadhiswara: given to analysis, propagation and protection of the principles of Brahmavidya of Advaita Shankara Vedanta, Nyaya of Goutama, Vaiseshika of Kanada, Sankhya of Kapila, Yogashastra of Patanjali; Bridge for the unity of Northern and Southern traditions of Sanatana Dharma; the breaker of the knots of Samskrita Shastra; leader in keeping up the purificatory processes of Varnasrama Dharma and Purushartha; nourisher of the tradition of Shastrartha debate; keen on growing the capacity of the weak, helpless, poor, downtrodden and the vulnerable; paying special attention to the strengthening of human values by establishing centres of Gurukula Vidyapitha, hospitals etc.; nourishing the cultural unity of the nation by his own indefatigable zeal, strength, vitality and effort; valuable treasure of compassion, charity and benevolence; helping Bharatadesha’s status of Vishvaguru and universal welfare through Ashtanga Yoga (Yama, Niyama, Pranayama, Pratyahara etc.); exemplifying through his own continuous illustrious Tapas and service to Vedic brahmanas and brahmacharis and holding the banner of Dharma and Adhyatma (Spirituality) in the world; master in procedures, civilization, thoughts and conduct suitable for Vedic scholars; improving Bharatiya society through glory of success of the tradition of Adi Shankaracharya, Shri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi and Shri Jayendra Saraswathi; full of enthusiasm and mantra power; leading ahead the tradition of study of Shastras in time useful for self-study, teaching and practice of Agamas; broad minded.
In this university named Sampurnananda, of name and fame, the self-evident jewel of Shastras, welcome and obeisance offered by the bent-down wise persons.
We prostrate at the lotus feet of the revered Peetheswara, of intellect and attributes suitable for established Dharmacharya, of strong intellect given to the principles of Vedas, Shastras etc.
The Acharya, augmenting the glory of the great Adi Acharya through his Tapas, is delighting Kashi and nourishing culture through words of superior virtue, and extolling the ancient course of Shastras of various respected paths.
We worship the great Acharyas of Kanchi Peetham, masters in the inner meanings of Shastras and followers of the virtues of Yama (control of sense organs), Niyama (control of mind) etc.
There is a desire of ours, who are submitting this Patra to the celebrated great Guru. We beseech the celebrated great Guru of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, delighting in Veda and Vedanta, the greatest scholar being worshipped, for continuous enjoyment of strength to protect the meanings of Shastras.
We remain fulfilled.
