Skandha 12
In Kaliyuga wealth alone will determine the lineage of a person, his conduct, his qualities etc. Strength of a person will be the only cause of how dharma and justice are organised. (2.2)
The holy account of the qualities of Bhagavan of the highest renown, when chanted constantly, removes all inauspiciousness. Hence one, who longs for unalloyed devotion to Krishna, should constantly listen to that account. (3.15)
In Kritayuga, Dharma stands on four legs – Truth, Compassion, Austerity and Charity; people follow Dharma with full dedication at that time. Dharma is the form of Bhagavan. (3.18)
In Kaliyuga, the four feet of Adharma – Untruth, Violence, Dissatisfaction and Strife, grow and hence the four feet of Dharma are weakened and only a fourth of Dharma remains; towards the close of Kaliyuga, that also is destroyed. (3.24)
Kaliyuga is the repository of vices; but one great virtue is there. By merely singing on Krishna, all attachments are freed and one attains to Moksha. (3.51)
The fruit obtained in Kritayuga by meditating (performing Tapasya) on Vishnu, in Tretayuga by worshipping Him through performance of yagas, and in Dvaparayuga by Puja and service to the Lord, is reaped in Kaliyuga by merely chanting the Stotras of Bhagavan. (3.52)
When one, with the sword of discrimination, cuts the bondage of mind by ego of the form of Maya, he gets established in the experience of Atma, i.e. Bhagavan. That real state of Atma, free from Maya, is called Aatyantika Pralaya. (4.34)
The state attained by the meditative Munis intent on Moksha by leaving aside everything other than the Supreme State and condemning it through ‘Neti, Neti’ (not this, not this), is the highest state of Vishnu; this is accepted by all Vedas and great men. They concentrate their minds with love on that state and destroy all mental impurities and tendencies of Anatma and get merged in that state. (6.32)
(Shiva to sage Markandeya) Waters do not constitute Tirthas; inert images without lifeforce do not become Devatas. Tirthas and Devatas purify one in a long time; but saints like you do so immediately on mere Darshan. (10.23)
Even if one involuntarily cries loudly ‘Haraye namah’ while falling down, slipping on the way, feeling miserable or while sneezing, he is freed from all sins. (12.47)
The subject explained in Srimad Bhagavatham is Brahman, which is the essence of all Upanishads, is without a second, and hence non-different from Atma; the only purpose of this work is Moksha. (13.12)
I prostrate to that supreme Hari, the chanting of names of whom destroys all sins, and the surrender at whose feet removes all misery. (13.23)
