Online discourses on Suvarnamala Stuti of Adi Shankaracharya were conducted by Shri P.R.Kannan as instructed by Pujyashri Acharya Swamiji. The weekly discourses in English commenced on 2 Nov and concluded on 14 Dec 2024 and the same in Tamil commenced on 3 Nov and concluded on 22 Dec 2024.

Visit of Mantralayam Math Swamiji to Shrimatham Camp at Tirupati-14 Dec 2024

Shri Subudhendra Tirtha Swamiji of Mantralayam Math visited Pujyasri Acharya Swamiji in the Tirupati camp on 14 Dec 2024.

Vijaya yatra updates – Bhanu Saptami at Tirumala (08-Dec-24)- Public Darshan of Acharya Swamiji at Tirumala Temple

Jagadguru Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji, who was camping at Sri Shankara Matam Paduka Mandapam at Tirupati, visited Tirumala. Acharya Swamiji was received at Mettu Mandapam and led in a procession to Bedi Anjaneyaswami for darshan. The Sri Satari was offered with Vedic chanting, and Pujya Acharya Swamiji performed Vinchamara Seva to Sri Venkateswara Swami. After receiving prasadams, Swamiji moved in a procession around the main Sannidhi and through Mada Veedhi to Sri Shankara Matam, accompanied by large number of devotees and TTD officials.

Public Darshan of Acharya Swamiji and Sri Venkateswara Swami in the Swami Sannidhi was arranged. About 750 devotees benefitted by having darshan of Swamiji and Balaji in the Garbhagriha.

“Jayendram” and Constitutional Lawn inaugurated in Chennai-1 Dec 2024

“Jayendram”, an exhibition on the life and times of Pujyashri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji was inaugurated in Sri Kanchi Mahaswami Vidyamandir Campus at Tambaram, Chennai by Pujyasri Acharya Swamiji. Shri Sachidananda Bharati Swamiji of Edaneer Math, Shri Arif Mohammed Khan, Governor of Kerala and Justice Shri K.R.Shriram, Chief Justice of Madras High Court were chief guests. On this occasion, Constitution Lawn was also inaugurated in the campus to mark the 75th anniversary celebration of Constitution of India. Shri V. Shankar had prepared the memorials and made all the arrangements.

Dharma Sabha held at Tirtahalli (24-Nov-24)

With the blessings and presence of Pujyashri Acharya Swamij, Dharma Sabha was held at Sri Ramachandrapura Matam, Thirthahalli.

Chandi homam poornahuti at Shakatapuram (23-Nov-24)

On 21 Nov 2024, Pujyashri Acharya Swamiji arrived at Shakatapuram to a grand welcome.

With the blessings and presence of Pujyashri Acharya Swamij, Chandi homam poornahuti was performed at Shakatapuram Srividya Peetam.

Visit to Puttige Mutt, Udupi (20-Nov-24)

Pujya Acharya Swamiji’s visit to Puttige Mutt, Udupi, was a momentous event, marked by a warm welcome from Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Swamiji and Sushreendra Tirtha Swamiji. Pujya Acharya Swamiji was received with Vedic chants, play of musical instruments, and a grand procession. Pujya Acharya Swamiji offered prayers at the Sri Chandramoulishwara, Sri Ananteshwara, and Sri Krishna – the main deity shrines of Sri Krishna Mutt. Pujya Acharya Swamiji visited the Gita Mandir, where Puttige Swamiji explained the temple’s unique features.

Pujya Acharya Swamiji inaugurated the Gita Utsav, which is part of the larger Koti Geeta Lekhana Yagna project, aimed at promoting the recitation and study of the Bhagavad Gita.

Bhumi Puja of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Durga Parameshwari Bhajana mandapam at Kasargod (18-Nov-24)

Pujya Acharya Swamiji blessed and performed the Bhoomi pooja of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Durga Parameshwari Bhajana Mandapam at Mulleria in Kasargod district.

Visit to Sri Chennakesava Perumal Devasthana at SuIlia (18-Nov-24)

Pujya Acharya Swamiji visited the Sri Chennakesava Perumal Temple in Sullia, Karnataka. During the visit, Visesha Pujas were performed, and Swamiji blessed the devotees with an Anugraha Bhashanam. The event was a significant occasion, offering devotees divine blessings and spiritual guidance.

Pujyashri Acharya Swamiji blessed and performed the Bhoomi pooja of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Durga Parameshwari Bhajana mandapam at Mulleria in Kasargod district on 18 Nov 2024.

Arrival at Edneer Math in Kasargod (17- Nov-24)

Pujya Acharya Swamiji arrived at Edneer Math, Kasargod, Kerala, where he was warmly welcomed by Sri Sachidananda Bharati Swamiji with a poornakumbham offering and Vedic chanting. In the evening, a swagata sabha was held, featuring Yakshaganam and other cultural programs, along with the chanting of the Rig Veda varna kramam. Acharya Swamiji in his Anugraha Bhashanam stressed that Bharat should grow culturally and spiritually too along with economic growth and that we should strive for it.

Inauguration of the Annapoorna Dining Hall Extension in Dharmasthala (14-Nov- 24)

Pujya Acharya Swamiji blessed the inauguration of the Annapoorna Dining Hall Extension atthe Srikshetra Dharmasthala.

Tulasi Vivaham and Rudra Homam at Shrimatam Camp-Dharmasthala (13-Nov- 24)

With the blessings and presence of Pujya Acharya Swamiji, Rudra Homam and Navagraha lshti were performed for lokakshema.

Tulasi Vivaham – puja- was performed as part of Brindavana Dwadashi thereafter at the Shrimatam camp.

Annabhishekam to Shri Chandramouliswara Swami was performed in the camp by Swamiji on 15 Nov 2024.

Grand procession welcoming Acharya Swamiji at Dharmasthala (09-Nov-24)

Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Swamiji was warmly welcomed at Dharmasthala, Karnataka, led by Dharmadhikari Dr. Veerendra Hegde. The event featured caparisoned elephants, colorful cultural performances, Bhavya Shoba Yatra. Following this, a swagata sabha was held, where Pujya Acharya Swamiji blessed the gathering with an Anugraha Bhashanam.

On 11 Nov 2024, Swamiji visited Shri Manjunathaswamy temple at Dharmasthala.

Earlier, on 7 Nov 2024, Pujyashri Acharya Swamiji was welcomed at Hassan. Swamiji visited Shri Anjaneyaswamy temple at Arishinakunte the same day.

Kumara Bhojanam and Veda Parayanam during Skanda Shashti Festival – 2nd to 7th Nov2024

With blessings of Pujyashri Acharya Swamiji, Chaturveda Parayanam was conducted, as in previous years, in Shrimatham as part of Skanda Shashti Festival. Kumara Bhojanam was observed in a grand scale in many centres on 7 Nov 2024 and Pujyashri Acharya Swamiji blessed the programme with online Anugraha Bhashanam.

Kritika Somavara Puja in Bengaluru (04-Nov-24)

Pujya Acharya Swamiji performed Kritika Somavara Puja at Shrimatam camp at Bengaluru. After the Puja, Pujya Acharya Swamiji blessed the large gathering of devotees.

Visit to Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Sri Venkateswara Vidyalaya – Tirupati (02- Nov-24)

Pujya Acharya Swamiji visited Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Sri Venkateswara Vidyalaya in Tirupati, located at the foothills of Tirumala. He blessed the management, teachers, and students, delivering an anugraha bhashanam and offering Prasadam to the students. The Vidyalaya focuses on integrating the rich heritage, culture, and values of ancient India with the evolving needs of modern society.

Deepavali – Visesha puja at Tirupati (31-Oct-24)

On the auspicious day of Deepavali, Pujya Acharya Swamiji blessed the devotees with Viswaroopa Darshan, followed by the special early morning Deepavali puja to Sri Tripurasundari Sametha Sri Chandramouleeswara Swami. Post this, Pujya Shankaracharya Swamiji left for Tirumala- the abode of Sri Venkateswara Swami. Arriving at Tirumala, Swamiji performed Anushtanam at the sacred Swami Pushkarini Teertham, and visited Sri Bhu Varahaswami Temple, where special pujas were performed.

On the auspicious Deepavali day, Visesha Pujas including Thailabhishekam (abhishekam with Oil), Gangajala Abhishekam, and abhishekam with other dravyams were performed in the 180+ Shiva Temples in and around Kanchipuram early in the morning. After adorning the deity with new vastrams, sweets and savories are offered as neivedya to the Lord, after which it is distributed as prasadam to devotees. This visesha Deepavali Seva is being performed for the past 33+ years as ordained by Pujyashri Shankaracharya Swamiji.

Dhanvantri Havan at Shrimatam camp at Tirupati (30-Oct-24)

With the blessings of Pujya Acharya Swamiji, Shri Dhanvantri Jayanti was observed at Shrimatam camp at Tirupati with visesha pujas and havans. Shri Dhanvantri Homam was performed with medicinal herbs. Devotees were blessed with payasa prasadam.

Mahasamprokshanam at Adavipalli, near Chittoor (28-0ct-24)

With the blessings of Pujya Acharya Swamiji, Mahasamprokshanam of Shri Sridevi Bhudevi Sameta Shri Mahavishnu Swamy , Vinayaka, Saraswati Navagraha Vimana Shikhara Ashtabandhana Mahotsavam at Sri Vaikuntapuram Village, Kaligiri Kanda, Adivipalle, Penumuru Mandal, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh was performed.

Sri Rama Yantram yatra from Tirupati to Ayodhya (27-0ct-24)

Pujya Acharya Swamiji blessed and flagged off the ‘Sri Rama Yantram’ yatra from Tirupati, the abode of Sri Venkateswara swami, to be consecrated in Ayodhya.

A 150 kg gold-plated Yantram, modeled after an ancient Yantram from Kanchipuram, featuring mantras dedicated to Sri Rama and other deities, was brought from Kanchipuram to Tirupati. It will travel 2,000 km in a chariot procession through five states to reach Ayodhya. The Yantram will be available for darshan at the ‘Sri Maha Narayana Divya Rudra Sahita Satha Sahasra Chandi Vishwa Shanti Maha Yagam’ in Karsevakpuram from November 18, 2024, to January 1, 2025.

Blessings to Veda Vidyarthis at Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham -Tirumala (23-0ct- 24)

Pujya Acharya Swamiji visited the Dharmagiri Sri Venkateswara Veda Vignana Peetham in Tirumala, offering His Blessings.

In His Anugraha  Bhashanam, He emphasized the importance of Vedic education for preserving Dharma and Vedic culture, and appreciated parents for encouraging their children to pursue Vedic studies.

Visit to Various Temples at Varanasi (20-Oct-24)

Pujya Acharya Swamiji visited Sri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, Maa Visalakshi­ Annapoorani and Kala Bhairav mandir in Varanasi on 20th Oct. 2024. Visesha pujas and harati were performed.

Inauguration of RJ Sankara Eye Hospital in Varanasi (20-Oct-24)

With blessings of Pujyasri Acharya Swamiji, The RJ Sankara Eye Hospital in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, was inaugurated on October 20, 2024, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath, and Padmashri Dr. R V Ramani also spoke at the event.

The hospital, with a capacity of 225 beds, aims to provide advanced eye care to patients from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Madhya Pradesh, significantly improving access to quality eye health services in these regions.

Varshika Veda Poorti Pariksha – Certificate distribution – Enathur, Kanchipuram (13-Oct-24)

The Varshika Veda Poorti Pariksha – Certificate Distribution ceremony was held at Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya on Vijayadashami, with the blessings of Pujyasri Acharya Swamiji. The event recognized Vidyarthis from various patasalas who completed their Vedic studies. The examination and certificate distribution occur twice a year, on Shankara Jayanthi and Vijayadashami, honoring the students’ dedication to learning the Vedas.

Devi Navaratri – Chandi Homam Poornahuti at Shrimatam camp at Nallur (11-Oct-24)

With the blessings of Pujyasri Acharya Swamiji, Devi Navaratri- Chandi homam pooranhuti was performed at Shrimatam camp at Nallur.

Navaratri – Tiruvilakku Puja – (08-Oct-24)

With the blessings of Pujyasri Acharya Swamiji, Navaratri-Tiruvilakku Puja was performed at Shrimatam camp at Nallur, Enathur (near Kanchipuram).

Nilgiris Badaga tribe performs traditional dance at Shrimatam camp (08-Oct-24)

On October 8, 2024, members of the Nilgiris Badaga tribes performed their traditional dance at the Shrimatam camp in Nallur, near Kanchipuram, in the presence of Pujyashri Acharya Swamiji. Swamiji blessed the performers and presented them with musical instruments.

Devi Navaratri Mahotsavam 2024 (02-14 Oct24)

With the blessings of Pujyasri Acharya Swamiji, Sri Devi Navaratri Mahotsavam was performed at Sri Kanchi Kamakshi Ambal Devasthanam from 2nd to 14th Oct. 2024.

Visesha abhishekam, pujas, Navavarana Puja, Kanya Puja, Suvasini puja were performed in the mornings, and in the evening, Sri Kamakshi Ambal utsavam was performed at the Navaratri Mandapam, with Sangeeta Seva.

Online discourses on Durga Chandrakala Stuti of Appayya Dikshitar and Durga Pancharatnam of Mahaperiyaval were delivered by Shri P. R. Kannan during the 10 day Navaratri Festival from 3rd to 12th Oct 2024.

Vishwaroopa Yatra – Orikkai to Kanchipuram (18-Sep-24}

A very grand Vishwaroopa Yatra at the conclusion of Chaturmasyam started from Orikkai and culminated at Sri Kamakshi Ambal Devasthanam Vasanta Mantapam. Pujyashri Acharya Swamiji was adorned with the prasadam of Sri Kamakshi Ambal and Sri Adi Shankaracharya.

Shrimatham camp was at Sankara College of Nursing New Building, Nallur near Kanchipuram upto 14th October 2024.

Chandi Havan at Cultural Centre, New Delhi (17-Sep-24)

With the blessings of Pujyasri Acharya Swamiji, Chandi Havan was performed for Lokakshema at Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Cultural Centre, Ayyappa Mandir Marg, R K Puram Sector 1, New Delhi 110022.

Veda Sadas in Orikkai camp-16 Sep 2024

Under the auspices of TTD Devasthanam, Veda Sadas was held in Orikkai camp, attended by a large number of Pundits of all four Vedic Shakhas. The gathering was blessed by Pujyashri Acharya Swamiji with Anugraha Bhashanam.

Inauguration of Sankara College of Nursing (Women) at Nallur, Kanchipuram – 15 Sep 2024

Inauguration  was performed  by Smt.Nirmala Sitaraman, Union Finance Minister. Shri N.Chandrasekaran, Tata Sons Chairman and Shri Krithivasan, CEO of TCS were present. Pujyashri Acharya Swamiji blessed the project and delivered Anugraha Bhashanam online from Orikkai camp.

Veda Bhashya Sadas- Orikkai (10-Sep-24)

With the blessings of Pujyasri Acharya Swamiji, the 3-day Veda Bhashya Sadas commenced on this day, with around 19 scholars and 23 students taking apart. Vinayaka Chaturthi Puja – 7 Sep 2024 at Shrimatham

As part of Vinayaka Chaturthi Puja, Sahasra modaka Ganapati Homam was performed with blessings and in presence of Pujyashri Acharya Swamiji in the Orikkai camp. Ekavimshati Patra Puja (archana with 21 types of leaves) was performed to Vinayaka at Shrimatham.

During the auspicious Bhadrapada month, devotees from various places undertake a yatra by walk to visit the temple of Ambaji Mata (One of the 51 Shakti peethas), Gujarat. Enroute to this temple lies the “Ekkavan Shakthi Peeth Mandir” in Ambaji consecrated by Jagadguru Shankaracharyas of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam. The temple has sannadhis for Devis of all the 51 shakti peethas in one place. With blessings of Pujya Shankaracharya Swamiji, arrangements are made here to provide bhojan prasad and resting place for the pada-yatris visiting the Ambaji Mata Mandir, Ambaji, Gujarat during this Bhadrapada month. ■
