Release of Tamil translation of Books- 12-Jun 2025
Pujyashri Acharya Swamiji released Tamil translation of books published by The Hindu Group on Mahaswamigal. The book details Mahaswamigal’s life, spiritual journeys, public discourses, teachings, and the widespread reception he received, which were compiled from news reports and photographs published in The Hindu. Swamiji praised the efforts by ‘The Hindu’ group in disseminating Mahaswamigal’s message among the masses.
Jayanti Mahotsavam of Jagadguru Pujyashri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Mahaswamigal (10-Jun-25)
Jayanthi Mahotsavam of the 68th Shankaracharya of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam was celebrated at Shrimatam, #Kanchipuram from 8th to 10th June 2025 with Veda Parayanam, Vidwat Sadas, Upanyasam, Nama Sankeertanam, Nada Samarpanam etc. On 10th June, Jayanthi day, the proceedings commenced at 7 a.m. Rudra Parayanam- Japam- Homam, Visesha abhishekam, alankaram, archana and mahadeeparadhana were performed at the Adishtanam of Pujya Mahaswamigal.
The Jayanthi Mahotsavam was celebrated with great dedication and devotion in many centres in India and abroad.
Ganga Dashahara Day – Darshan at Tirumala (05-Jun-25)
On the holy occasion of Ganga Dashahara, Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji and Pujyashri Sathya Chandrashekharendra Saraswathi Swamiji visited Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple at Tirumala. The Acharyas first visited Swami Pushkarini Teertham and Sri Varaha Swamy Sannidhi before proceeding for Darshan at Ananda Nilayam. It is noteworthy that Swami Pushkarini marks the ancient border of Kanchi – Thondaimandalam, where all Shiva temples traditionally have Kamakshi Amba as consort.
After the visit, they returned to the Shrimatam Camp at Maha Paduka Mandapam, Alipiri, Tirupati.
On 23 May 2025, Pujyashri Acharya Swamiji blessed devotees with Anugraha Bhashanam for Sri Mookambika Veda Sivagama Samskruta Patashala.
Yajur Veda Parayana Poorti at Shrimatam camp, Tirupati (21-May-25)
With the blessings and in the divine presence of Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji and Pujyashri Satya Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji, the Yajur Veda Parayana Poorti was performed at the Shrimatam camp, Shri Shankara Matam Paduka Mandapam in Tirupati.
Anuradha Nakshatram – Visesha havans – Tirupati (13-May-25)
On the auspicious occasion of Anuradha Nakshatra, Visesha Havans were performed in the morning at the Shrimatam camp in Tirupati, in the benign presence of Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Acharya Swamiji and Pujyashri Satya Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Acharya Swamiji.
On 4 May 2025, the two Jagadgurus shifted the camp to Tirupati on Vijaya Yatra.
Shankara Jayanti – VRNT – Veda Poorti Pariksha Certificate Distribution, Shrimatam, Kanchipuram (02-May-25)
The 2534th Shankara Jayanthi was celebrated in Shrimatham and Shri Kamakshi Ambal Devasthanam at Kanchipuram and in many centres in India and abroad over a period of ten days with many programmes of Havans, Pujas, discourses, Nama Sankirthanam, children’s programmes, Bhajans etc.
With the blessings of Pujya Acharya Swamiji, the Varshika Veda Poorti Pariksha Certificate Distribution was held in the evening on the auspicious occasion of the Shankara Jayanti at Shrimatam.
Pujya Shankaracharya’s visit to Thenambakkam Sivasthanam, Kanchipuram (01-May-25)
Pujyashri Satya Chandrashekarendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Swamigal visited Thenambakkam Shivasthanam in the evening, walking in a procession from Shrimatam. During the commencement, He was accompanied by Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal. Enroute, devotees received Acharya with poornakumbham, and offerings of garlands. At the Shivasthanam, both Acharyas were accorded a grand reception with poornakumbham, mangala vadyam, veda gosham. A large number of devotees participated in the procession.
Sanyasa Deeksha Conferment programme on 30 Apr 2025
On the auspicious morning of April 30, 2025 (Budha–Rohini–Akshaya Triteeya), at the sacred Pancha-Ganga teertham within Shri Kamakshi Ambal Temple, Jagadguru Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji conferred Sanyasa Deeksha upon Sri Duddu Satya Venkata Surya Subrahmanya Ganesha Sharma Dravid.
The young acharya was given the deeksha name as Satya Chandrashekarendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji.
The event coincided with the 2534th Shankara Jayanti Mahotsavam, marking a historic moment in the lineage of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham.

Inauguration of Viswanatha Dyana Mandiaram at NSU, Tirupati (11-Apr-25)
Pujya Acharya Swamiji inaugurated the Viswanatha Dhyana Mandiram at Naimisham Gurukulam, situated within the National Sanskrit University campus in Tirupati, on 11th April 2025.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. G. S. R. Krishna Murthy, Registrar Sri K. V. Narayana Rao, Deans of various faculties, the Finance Officer (I/c), Heads of Departments, faculty members, administrative staff, and students of the University.

The sacred Ashtami Puja and the grand Sahasra Deepalankara Seva were reverently performed at the Sri Kanchi Kamakshi Ambal Devasthanam in Kanchipuram, drawing numerous devotees to witness the divine splendor.
7th Aradhana Mahotsavam of HH Pujyashri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal (09 to 11-Mar-25)
The 7th Varshika Aradhana of Pujyashri Jayendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Swamigal was observed on 11th March 2025 at the sacred precincts of His Brindavanam at Shrimatam with the devoted performance of all usual rituals including Tirtha Narayana Puja.
Beginning on 9th March, a series of spiritual events including Veda Parayanam, Shastra Sabha, Bhagavata Upanyasam, Sangeetanjali, and various other devotional activities were conducted in reverence.
