Today is an auspicious day and on this auspicious day, Kasi Vishwanathji blesses everyone. In Mooka panchashathi, viewing with our eyes is called as Netra utsav.
With the blessings of Pujya Shri Swamigal (Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal) Dr Ramani and His wife Dr Radha Ramani started this hospital project at a small scale at Coimbatore and today 16 hospitals have been opened. Each state is supposed to be having one hospital and many people are getting benefits of this service. This is the 17th hospital.
Prime Minister Modi told Dr Ramani in Coimbatore that this is Netra Yagna. Uttar Pradesh has two of these hospitals, one at Kanpur and another one is now being opened at Varanasi.
Our country is on the path of fast development and this is primarily due to a good leader. A society needs people, persona and a good leader to bring them both together. In our shastras there is a mention of Devasura yuddha; once Devatas decided that they need a king. Soma was made the king and then victory was achieved. Ours is the biggest democracy, it’s very big as well as a difficult one to manage. It’s only possible by the blessings of God to get a good leader. With such blessings, this government by NDA under the leadership of PM Narendra Damodar Das Modiji is working towards the security, convenience, prosperity of the public. NDA appears to me to stand for Narendra Damodar ka Anushasan (Discipline). This is an ideal government working with data and awareness towards everyone including animals. Generous grants are being given to all states including Tamil Nadu. Many good things are happening there. For the benefit of 140 crore Indian population PM Modi is working. Even during the pandemic PM Modi made sure everyone gets food because he understands the problems faced by a common man. He is experienced and his vision is being fulfilled. For the greatness and future of the country, spiritual and cultural development is also equally important.
Prime Minister Modi with his versatile, talent, determination, focus and wisdom has been working towards the development of the state of Uttar Pradesh and the nation with the support of the chief minister, Shri Yogi Adityanath.
He is also taking all necessary steps in his role as a Vishwa guru to make sure India finds its rightful place in the entire global scenario and we should all pray for his success in such efforts.
Sri Kamakoti Shankara Mutt is also focused on development of Vidya, Vaidya and Veda. In terms of education, the Mutt has started several schools and colleges across the country to impart quality education to a wide section of the society. In respect of healthcare, we have several hospitals across the country. The Shankara Eye hospital, which started in a small way, has several branches over the country serving a huge section of the public without any discrimination.
Protection of Vedas is also one of the most important activities of the Mutt and towards this the Mutt has started several initiatives under the guidance of Paramacharya. For example, for the preservation of Atharvaveda in Gujarat the Mutt had sent people to Baroda for getting trained in this branch. This was initially known only to one family, but now due to the efforts of the Mutt over the last 50 years, today more than 200 people have been trained in this branch.
For the growth of the nation, we need culture, tradition, science, and confidence in all these matters.
Modi ji started as the trustee of the Somnath trust and did a lot of good work and service there. Subsequently with the guidance of Swamiji, he started focusing on Kedarnath. Annadanam should be done where it is needed the most and Kedarnath being a very remote area, not easily accessible hilly and cold area, he developed all facilities there, including Annadanam.
We need both devotion to God as well as devotion to nation for us to succeed. In the case of Kedarnath, it was a combination of both, and after doing all this at Kedarnath, he turned his attention to Kashi.
When Mahatma Gandhiji had visited Kashi, he also mentioned about how the conditions there should be improved. Now Modiji has really transformed Kashi and due to his focus on cleanliness, the whole Vishwanath corridor has improved very well .The recent Chaturmasya was conducted by us at Kashi and was also attended by Yogiji. The Vishwanath Mandir trust at Kashi is doing excellent work, which adds to the sanctity of the entire city.
Also, now the work on Mahakaleshwar Mandir in Ujjain is going on, and this has transformed the entire place. This will add to the growth of the nation due to the magical transformation and involvement and magnanimity involved in all these works. Tranquility and Shanti are also necessary and due to devotion, this can be achieved by a nation. This is just the beginning in Mahakaleshwar and many more things are in store for the city, and I also hope to visit there soon.
Everything is happening with an optimistic view point, and it’s important to note that optimism is necessary at this stage for all these developments to take place.
Developments in our country are taking place rapidly from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. In Kashmir, recently elections were conducted very well and we had also visited Kashmir – the Shankara Hill. I have known Prime Minister Modi from 1997 onwards. A lot of work has been done in all the 12 Jyothirlingam temples of our country.
He was also instrumental in creating a golden Shikhar in Ambaji temple in Gujarat, which is a Shakti Peeth. My association with Prime Minister Modi started from Gujarat through My Guruji in various areas like Mehsana, Sidhpur, etc, and Mr Modi also hails from Mehsana district in Gujarat.
Mr Modi has been working tirelessly for the nation and this has resulted in getting the dispute at Ayodhya resolved . He has created a beautiful temple for Lord Rama in Ayodhya, in regard to which dispute has been going on for more than 500 years.
Mr. Modi has been working in 10 directions including ocean and space technology. Work is going on everywhere. King Dasaratha had prayed to Goddess Kamakshi for children. The Kumbh Mela was organised very well earlier, and I hope that in the next year, also it will be organised peacefully and in a very clean manner. It is necessary for all of us to pray in temples and work for the growth of the nation.
